Aaron Harrison, Lighting up the heavens (SINGLE SHOT 2021)

For me, the aspect of photography I enjoy the most is the mindfulness element it brings, allowing me to escape the busyness and pressures of every day life for a short time. This image was captured on a cloudless spring night at beautiful Sellicks Beach, an hour's drive south of Adelaide. The darks skies there allowed for the milky way to really shine and a colleage and myself spent quite a few hours enjoying the night sky and the art of capturing it in camera.
