Bernadette Heald, Loud Standing Silent (LANDSCAPE 2021)
The hidden silent heart of an ancient life, these images taken using a pinhole camera with colour film reflects the beauty and presence that such an old forest demands when you enter its environment and surrounds. Time marches slowly by while the trees grow standing like sentinels watching over all that grows within. For me it is a place of wonder and magic, The Pines at Barrington Tops National Park in NSW is a little pocket of nature that will stand like a time capsule to give us a glimpse into the past.
