Liz Barratt, Lovers Tiff (DOCO 2022)
Taken at Wooroolin Wetlands, South Burnett, Queensland, after recent rains and the wetlands have an abundance of life. These two Galah’s appeared to be having a lover’s tiff. Male and female Galah’s are hard to tell apart, but their eyes are different colours – males have dark-brown or black eyes while the females have pink or red ones. End photo shows the male on his own – perhaps to ponder why his sweet whispering didn't work. This series of photos were taken within a minute.
