Marion Peters, Mallee Art (ART 2021)

A good amount of timely rain in 2020 provided the Mallee flora with an opportunity to display its natural form of art. In the middle of the day the Mallee Fringe Lily opens to display its striking art, appearing as hovering discs of colour on almost invisible stalks. The Tall Yellow-top daisy flowers for longer but is now quite rare and so difficult to find. While the Sweet Apple Berry twines itself to shrubs in bushland for support and shelter, it also consequently is difficult to find.
