Kevin Palmer, Morning Rain on Grass (ART 2025)

There was this young child who, all alone, would lay in the grass like a soft bed and look up at the sky or clouds and imagine. Other times peering into the grassy stalks encountering the smallest of wonders. When thinking about entering these images, it seemed more appropriate to render them as black and white. The distraction of the colour losing my intention with these works of evoking memories of a simple joy and gentle wonderment. But also in these it was just to allow the memories of that child to return.
