Liesel Edis, Mother Earth (ART 2023)
I have been thinking about this series for quite some time and about how global warming is destroying the ecosystems of our environment. These trees are along a major road on the way to the NSW snowy mountains. Whilst traveling to the snow with my young family. They were asking why all the trees are dying. The trees are suffering from a disease called dieback, which is a caused by a fungus and once in the area will destroy destroy all the surrounding trees. Our ecosystem is delicate, life is delicate. I am an underwater fine art photographer and this is my expression of how we must look after our planet, look after our Mother Nature, otherwise she won’t be here for our young families and their dreams.
