Benjamin Maze, Nevergreen (LANDSCAPE 2023)

A series exemplifying the beauty of Australia's native myrtle beech trees (Nothofagus Cunninghamii) within the old-growth rainforests of Tasmania. These ancient evergreen trees and their surrounding diverse ecosystems are essential for a thriving planet, storing masses of carbon and supporting incalculable life forms. However, they are relentlessly logged for woodchips with total disregard for their value left standing. Appreciation of our rainforests is essential for the health and future of both ourselves and our once-green planet.
