Ross Mastrovich, New Zealand Birds in Flight (ANIMAL 2024)
New Zealand is known for its flightless birds but has its fair share of sky dwellers too. I have always enjoyed watching New Zealand's varied native birds in their element, this collection shows the breadth of their mastery of the sky from the Southern Royal Albatross gliding high in the sky without the need to flap its wings, to the acrobatic Fantail darting around treetops catching insects, to the effortless rough wave riding of a Storm Petrel.
