Keith Brown, No Fun Park (DOCO 2021)

Stumbling onto this amusement park on my first evening in Phnom Penh, Cambodia I was struck by the strange ambiance of the place. Admittedly it was early in the evening before visitor number began to grow but the strange mix of the discarded and the new struck me as odd. Rides were operating but missing an essential ingredient...children having fun! The coloured lights and blasting soundtracks just couldn't hide the undercurrent of forlornness the place exuded.
