Julie Guthridge, Numbat Babies (ANIMAL 2022)
These highly endangered baby Numbats, that are commonly known by Numbat lovers as Numbubs, were photographed in the Tone-Perup National Park. This is only 1 of 2 natural habitats where these precious creatures still exist. It was the opportunity of a lifetime when I was lucky enough to spot these babies playing around their burrow while the Mother Numbat went out foraging for termites. A rare experience that only a few photographers in the world have experienced.
