Marion Phillips, Old Soviet Trucks in Turkmenistan (Documentary 2020)

As we ventured around the Kara Kum Desert in Turkmenistan we kept seeing old Soviet vehicles that had probably been left behind when Turkmenistan gained independence on October 27, 1991. Some were still in use but others served an important function of providing shelter.
