Christine Goerner, Otherworldly Land (LANDSCAPE 2023)

Flying over the Painted Hills, in the remote Australian outback enabled me to see the spectacular landscape from above but walking on this land and experiencing the other-worldly atmosphere from a ground level perspective was quite surreal. These ancient hills with amazing colour and form, sit majestically in ethereal silence, and I’ve tried to capture that spirit in this series.
