David Collins, Out of the shadows (SINGLE SHOT 2021)

This was an image captured as Melbourne was starting to open up from the enduring lockdown. This is Centre Place, normally a thriving laneway of diners, tourists and pedestrians, captured when travel restrictions were beginning to lift. The single plant put out into the laneway by the cafe to signify they were open was such a powerful image.
