Celia Furt, PANDEMICS: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, AT THE QUARANTINE STATION, IN PORTSEA, VICTORIA (DOCO 2023)

At the beginning of 2020, when the world was hit by this man-made virus that was later called ‘Covid-19’, some parallels were drawn with the Spanish flue (1918 -1920) that killed 12,000 people in Australia and an estimated 60 million people around the world. At the Quarantine Station, in Portsea, Victoria, after the 1st World War, to thank the returned military personnel for their service, in 1919, the government built 12 timber huts to put these ‘living high-risk virus carriers’ in isolation. When I visited the barracks, I felt the walls were still impregnated with the essence of their suffering. More than 100 years later, their vibrations are still haunting the walls of these barracks. As the keepers of an essential part of History, the huts shouldn’t be touched. No surf boards or other gear should be kept inside. In 2020, the world felt sick with this man-made virus called Covid-19. So sick that the governments held us prisoners in our homes to ‘keep us safe’. The duration of house arrest depended on where you lived. Moreover, in Australia some returning travellers had to be put in quarantine in hotels and were locked up in filthy rooms without being able to open the window or go out to breathe some fresh air, for 15 days. In Victoria, Premier Daniel Andrews, held us prisoners for nearly two years. Most of us still haven’t fully recovered from the trauma of having been deprived from our freedom, having lost our jobs, houses, families, loved ones etc.... In 2021, before ending the ‘stay at home orders’ we were bribed and coerced into taking this lethal injection made with mRNA technology, nanoparticles, and graphene oxide. In 1919, the world also got out of the flu pandemic with a vaccine, the only difference was that the vaccine against the flu was a real vaccine. How many people suddenly died or have lifelong injuries due to this twenty-first-century poison that was sold to us as being ‘safe and effective’? How many more people need to die before they stop the fabrication of this death-making juice? This is not a conspiracy theory. Those are facts. Humanity is on alert. Humanity needs us. Currently working on their International Health Regulations and Pandemic Treaty, the World Health Organisation is proposing to drop the words ‘human rights’, ‘human dignity’ from their amendments whilst the European Union Commission is preparing to sign Human Digital Laws that would render humans as ‘digital equity property with no rights.’ How would you feel if you were treated as a piece of data with no rights and locked up in your house waiting for the next medical treatment that the WHO would have decided for you?
