Luke Woollard, Peninsula (Landscape 2020)
1. Safety Beach. Taken during a vivid sunset in spring 2019. Used a long exposure to soak up the dazzling colour display and smooth the water on Port Phillip bay. 2. Safety Beach. Taken during A summer storm roaring out of Bass Strait whipped up the ocean into a splashing, foamy delight. Used a long exposure to achieve the ethereal feeling of the water. 3. Point Leo. Taken during a rainy, freezing, cloudy winter morning at sunrise blue hour. Battled to keep the lens and camera dry and struggled to walk on the slippery ramp without falling and smashing my camera. Used a long exposure to create the almost supernatural feel of the ramp disappearing into the Westernport Bay. I have an ND 10 stop filter that I used to achieve a longer exposure time on image 1 & 2. All images taken with my Nikon D3500 and 18-55mm wide angle lens. Photography is my one of my passions but my day job is running my property management company on the Mornington Peninsula Vic.
