Ty Stedman, Portraits of Tide (Landscape (2019))
I find that the majority of my recent work is akin to creating portraits of the earth. I am most comfortable working in this format, on an aerial search for isolated scenes that communicate something unique from the everyday view. This set of images was shot from light aircraft over locations across the Australian continent to highlight the eternal exchange of water with wind, currents and sands of varying geology, sculpting unique designs that are ultimately fleeting.
