These photos, taken in Doha, Qatar in December 2022, portray the contrast of old traditions in a new world. The country has seen a rapid rise in wealth thanks to oil exports over the last few decades and a hyper futuristic skyline has emerged. This is the backdrop for old traditions and expressions of culture in a rapidly modernising society.
