Jamie van Leeuwen, Qatar: The Spiral Mosque (ARCHITECTURE 2023)

Overlooking the traditional Souq Waqif marketplace in Doha, Qatar, is the Spiral Mosque. It is one of the tallest mosques in the city and is a prominent landmark that can be seen for miles. It remains a visible link to religion and old traditions in a rapidly modernising society.
