Mark Brierley, Refined Conflict (Architecture (ATEP 2017))
In this portfolio I wanted to create a set of images that weren’t instantly recognisable, Staying away from the traditional landmarks I focused on the artistic merit of the structure. My aim was to show a concrete and steel world with a splash of colour. As a Landscape Photographer. I have found this approach to be quite therapeutic… A source of inspiration, as well as keeping my passion for the natural landscape alive. This has been a way of letting go, of applying a landscape photographers eye to an urban scene and creating a unique piece of art.
