Amanda Stuart, Reflections on a Seagull (ANIMAL 2025)

A hot day in Melbourne's Botanic Gardens; I went for an early morning walk. Seagulls were flying across the lake, occasionally stopping to enjoy the cool water and the breeze. I wondered if they could see their own reflection in the lake.
