Peter Ogden, Roads to Nowhere (Landscape 2020)
The bushfires of summer across Australia have been a call to action; a wake-up call for the ages. However, this is not the forum for a discussion about the politics of climate change. I want the images to speak for themselves. To me, these captures speak of man’s encroachment upon the land; about the arrogance of turning bush into bitumen and the denial of connection to its loss of innocence; about leaning in and hearing what the land is telling us.
