Rosemary Featherstone, SMITHY (DOCO 2025)

In days past, the 'smithy' was one of the pivotal people in the community. His work kept towns running by supplying wheels and tools. Blacksmithing is the craft of shaping metal into objects heating meatal until it’s soft enough to work with, then shaping it using tools like a hammer, chisel and anvil. Blacksmiths still exist in the modern day. Today we see hobbyist blacksmiths and artisan blacksmiths creating art out of metal materials.
