Michael Glass, Sometimes, it isn't your day... (DOCO 2023)

Before the beginning of this year, I had never photographed a game of Rugby. To be honest, I wasn't even a fan. I was invited to come and shoot the games of Queensland Premier Rugby side: University of Queensland - 'The Red Heavies'. by the end of the year, I was standing on the sidelines at Suncorp Stadium photographing the Grand Final. The Red Heavies were trying to win back-to-back premierships, but you need for everything to go right. It wasn't the Red Heavies' day, but there's always next year.
