Christine Walliss, Spirit of Australia 11 World Water Speed Record Trial Blowering Dam NSW (SINGLE SHOT 2021)
In 1978, Ken Warby set the world water speed record on Blowering Dam NSW. The record was 511.10 km/h or 317.58 mph, and is still current today. His son David is trying to break this record at the moment on the same stretch of water. I took this photograph 07/11/2020 on a Nikon D7000 with a nikon 18-300 lens, f/5.6, ISO 100, at 1/1600. The boat was on the other side of the lake travelling at a speed of approximately 250 km/h. The foreground and the background was nearly completely black, I enhanced the black in Photoshop.
