Adam Robert Young, Stories from Cambodia (Student (ATEP 2017))

In January of 2016, I took part in a study trip to Cambodia as part of my studies. During that time, I covered a range of stories working with government and non-government organisations that I had contacted prior to the trip. Stories included efforts to preserve the cultural heritage site of Angkor; the training of landmine detecting rats; an organisation providing help to people who have been caged, tied or chained up due to a lack of mental health facilities; anti-child trafficking efforts; and the growing street art scene in Phnom Penh. These images are a tiny sample of the fascinating story of Cambodia that I was lucky enough to experience during the three-week trip.
