Alice Mariette, Summer Holidays (Single Shot 2020)

Over Christmas 2019 we went camping and it was a bit of a nightmare, everything and anything went wrong. Though dispersed amongst the comedy of errors were some beautiful moments when everyone relaxed and all occurred at the beach (the healing power of water!). This moment was one of them. After a late swim, my husband and two sons were rinsing off under the showers and the golden sunset light was streaming through the trees and setting the water aglow. It was divine and I am so glad I was able to capture it. It makes me grateful for life and cancels out the not-so-great memories of the trip.
