Annette Kirby, Sunflower Texture (SINGLE SHOT 2021)

During the Pandemic I reworked my home garden to include more plants to attract birds and insects. I included sunflowers and this photo was taken, hand held in January 2021 with my Cannon EOS R5 and Cannon RF100-500 F4.5- 7.1 lens. I saw the emerging sunflower head and loved the texture and shapes of the bud before it burst open.
