Kyle Hoffmann, Sunrise (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

During lockdown the days were starting to blur working from home and each day would pass so quickly. I found myself watching the sun and how it's path would change so subtly on the horizon. Running out of subjects I decided to point my camera out of the window and made this 4 -5 hour exposure of the rising sun. Constantly checking the camera to make sure it did not start on fire. This image for me symbolizes hope. Hasselblad 500C/M, 50mm f4, Pancro 400 and hand developed.
