Katherine Binnie, Synchronistic Halcyon Days (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

An image where you don't know what you have got until you get home and the realisation of what role synchronicity can play in any second of the day. The elements that really captured my attention and the reason I choose this image was firstly the composition of the swimmers with their arms raised at the same time accompanied by the bent leg of the lady lying on steps of the ocean baths. Secondly the 6 white lines of the stairs juxtaposed to the 6 lines of the shoes of the lady and thirdly the subjects and what they are all doing.
