Yi Cao, Territorial Dispute (ANIMAL 2025)

Swallows can fight for their right of their occupancy of a territory, this is very often seen amongst the same species of swallow or amongst different species of swallow. I took these images in Morang Wetlands where swallows are very active in summer. It has been quite an interesting experience to watch them fly over the water, landing on perch (only a few there), and showing anger at those who tried to reach the same spot.
