Scott Kelly, The Camel Leopard (ANIMAL 2023)

The early European explorers first called these magnificent creatures "Camel Leopards" because of their unique size, colouration and intricate patterns! I am lucky enough to work with Giraffe every day and these three photos capture some of my favourite Giraffe moments of 2022/23! The top photo shows four bull giraffe as they lumber across the vast grassy plains of Monarto. The middle photo shows young Nykundu basking in the last golden rays of a hot summers day. And the last captures ancient Zuri, an 18 year old bull giraffe who's scars tell of many fierce battles.
