Diana Henderson, The Family Man (Documentary/Photojournalism)

Being a father to 5 children is an adventure. Most days it feels like the slow trudge up a steep incline. It's not full of the glamour or prestige of climbing snow crested mountains, but the work is important. Doing the work of fathering refines a man's heart in the same way the slopes of the Himalayas refine a man's strength. The mornings come quickly and most days the bedtimes don't come soon enough. Yet, every morning as the sun faithfully starts it ascent into the sky, this man faithfully pulls himself out of bed and gets on with the work of changing a world he will never see by imparting all he has into his children. One day they will go and be the change, and that is enough for him.
