Lisa Skelton, The first migration (ANIMAL 2025)

Conservation success stories often seem too few and far between. The continued recovery of our global humpback populations is one that is regularly celebrated, especially here in Australia. Viewing these animals every winter fills me with hope and optimism. Their presence today serves as a reminder that we can make amends for past mistakes, that timely and definitive action can bring about positive change.
