Jordan Robins, The Magic of Bioluminescence (OPEN 2021)
Bioluminescent algae lighting up the shore line in Jervis Bay a bright electric blue. The micro algae Noctiluca Scintillans produces a bright blue glow at night when it is disturbed by wind or wave action. The rare natural occurrence only happens once or twice a year so I was extremely lucky to be able to photograph it on this particular night with nice clear skies with lots of stars. All images are single exposures.
