Russell Curr, The resilience of the spotted sun orchid (OPEN 2021)

These native orchids survive and produce such beauty in a harsh bushland environment and I saw them as a symbol of the resilience of humanity in a time of great suffering. Limited to a 1 hour walk from my home my landscape photography was placed on hold for most of this year as we all tried to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. However I found in the local bushland such delicate beauty that challenged my photographic skills.
