Amanda Stuart, Three talented artists at work (PORTRAIT 2023)

I asked permission of these three people before taking their photo - the talented young street artist, the tattooed barber and the didgeridoo player with the beautiful smile. All three were happy to oblige, and looked at the camera when I took the photos. This is one of the joys for me of being a photographer, as it is a simple way of connecting to others, even strangers that you meet.
