candy goldsmith, Unbound (Portrait (2018))

Unbound series was created to depict the impact of body dysphoria and shed light on personal journeys of people in the gender diverse community. Participants would be interviewed by myself for an hour before I photographed them to give me more insight into their individual journeys and how much of that I could show with a single picture, "A sincerely multifaceted person once told me "It will end". I don't always think highly of myself, that much is hard. But I still look back on all the things that have and may come to an end and carry that sentiment close. That you can be lost in the midst of everything, but even if the finishing point is hidden that it too at some point will come". Laura/Remus
