Quin Hayes, Unsettling (DOCO 2023)

These photos were taken on the rugged and mountainous maria island in Tasmania. They tell the story of Ruby Hunt one of the last residents to leave the island in 1968. The images convey the eerieness that comes with a life of solitude but also the peacefulness and tranquility.
