People on the Ghats of Varanasi don't do what they do for tourists, they do what they do because the Ganges and the Ghats are simply life as it is. Life can be full of crowds and chaos, but there are also moments where individuality gets the opportunity to be seen. Yet even in a crowd, each participant is an individual, if you're just prepared to pause and observe life as it is.
