Visual stimuli dominate the human senses. Space perception provides cues, such as depth and distance that are important for movement and orientation in the environment. Disrupting the optical contact in the spatial layout, relocating surface relative to the objects or the position of objects through location relative to a surface of support disorients and changes things. Objects may shed their material value and convey different meanings on their new plane. This project is a result of my exploring the impacts of space perception stability shifts in images, and how this may also change our visual perception of things.
