Amanda Clarke, Water Girl (PORTRAIT 2021)

These three images capture suspended movement of a girl in the water; illustrating the ability to freeze a literal split second, to capture details of the water that are generally imperceptible to the human eye. This is a “paused”moment during the bathing process. Repeating motion of the water establish rhythm and build momentum to carry the eye from one point to the next.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
