Mark Condon, What we see as Wedding Photographers (Wedding)

Wedding photographers are given a unique and privileged view into the lives of people they barely know. No other profession allows such an intimate and close up documentation of two individuals at their most vulnerable, on the most important day of their lives. Shooting 2, sometimes 3 weddings a weekend it's easy for wedding photographers to forget the importance of our role. When hangovers have cleared and memories have faded, it's our photography that will transport a couple back to the feeling they had on the day they became husband and wife. To us we're creating art, but to them we're creating memories.
