Nilmini De Silva, Where Braided Rivers Flow (LANDSCAPE 2024)

While on a visit to New Zealand last year, we were fortunate to take an air safari over Lake Tekapo and the surrounding glacial peaks. I learnt that glaciers grinding against rock produce a fine ‘rock flour’ which creates the turquoise blue water of these glacial lakes. Seeing their grandeur from the air was an incredible opportunity to get another perspective of this grand landscape.
