I was lucky to step into the heart of Uzbekistan’s yearly cotton harvest. These moments capture not only the hard work but also the resilience, family bonds, and deep connection to the land passed down through generations. While cotton harvesting is often linked to sensitive topics, this series focuses on something different—family life, perseverance, and the strong tie between people and their land. Through these images, I hope to offer a more layered, human perspective of the Uzbek community, one that goes beyond stereotypes and shows the real beauty of their everyday lives.
