Fernanda Pedroso, You Are Your Own Home (PORTRAIT 2023)

Those portraits make part of my series “You Are Your Own Home” where I photographed people who don’t follow the “rules” of the patriarchal society. Bi, Non-binary, sex worker, Trans, women who choose don't get marriage, who choose to don't have kids, poli love, etc. They are all nude photos, showing them the way they nature intended in a place they have connection with. Doing this series is an amazing process for me. I could meet so many interesting people with a beautiful story of overcoming and courage. I hope I can help to build a society without prejudice
