Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1984, Jan Breckwoldt developed his passion for adventure and the outdoors early in his life by joining the Boy Scouts and his local hockey club. He travelled to Australia for the first time in 2004, returning to study in 2007, where he met his wife. Returning to Germany temporarily, he’s lived in Sydney since 2011. Breckwoldt currently works as a risk and compliance officer for an online marketplace.
