Born in 1972 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Jannick Clausen moved to Australia with his parents in 1981. Based in Brisbane, and married with one child, he works full-time as a service technician on production print while he builds his portfolio and experience to become a photographer full time. Photographically, he focuses on landscape, fine art, weddings, portraits, and sports. In 2014, he became a Master Photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. In 2016, he was named AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year, AIPP Queensland Professional Photographer of the Year, and AIPP Queensland Landscape Photographer of the Year. He was also awarded the Epson Queensland Signature Worthy Award, and published in the Landscape section of Capture magazine’s The Annual.
