Jennifere Thompson is a Melbourne-based photographer who specialises in animal portraits. Since 2015, she has travelled around the world to photograph animals living in forest, rehabilitation centres, and in zoos. Her images are a photographic record of emotions that are similar to humans, with the overriding aim of getting humans to feel compassion, and imprint the animal face to their memory.
