About the series
“Some of my first memories as a child I've always been excited by all aspects of air travel. From the experience of packing your bags, to arriving at the airport, watching the planes take off and land, imagining where people are travelling to, flying on the plane itself, and visiting faraway lands. I've taken this love through to adulthood and always love seeing planes, airports, and travelling as much as possible. These images are part of a broader series related to air travel that was photographed on medium format film.” – Mark Forbes.
Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers is the region's main platform for discovering and showcasing photographers at the outset of their careers. The competition is open to emerging, student, and amateur photographers.
