Australians by Jon Frank

The Moran Arts Foundation will host new work by acclaimed photographer Jon Frank. The exhibition will open at Juniper Hall, Paddington, on Saturday 23 May 2015. Frank was a finalist in the 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize. Australians will run from Saturday, 23 May until Sunday, 21 June. The exhibition showcases photographs from Frank’s ongoing series that captures the variety, diversity and fascinating ways of life of the many different identities that make us ‘Australians’.

About Jon Frank

Jon Frank is one of Australia’s leading surf photographers and ocean-based cinematographers. He is
renowned for his collaborations with Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra in multi-media
performances such as The Crowd in 2013 and The Reef in 2012, amongst others. A collaboration with the
Aurora Orchestra saw his work showcased in London in 2013. His work has appeared in many magazine
publications worldwide.
